မၾကာခင္က သတင္းမ်ားအရ ေရျမဳိ.နယ္ရွိ ျပည္သူလူထုေတြကုိ ဗမာစစ္တပ္ေတြက ရက္စက္ၾကမ္းၾကဳတ္စြာ ညွင္းပန္းႏွိပ္စက္သတ္ျဖတ္မွဳ၊မုဒိန္က်င့္မွဳ၊လူ.အခြင့္အေရးခ်ဳိေဖာက္မွဳ ႏွင့္မတရားအႏိုင္က်င့္မွဳမ်ား ျပဳလုပ္ပါသည္၊

ဒီလုိတုိက္ပြဲမ်ား အဆက္မျပတ္ျဖစ္ပြားမွဳေၾကာင့္ အျပစ္မဲ့ျပည္သူလူထုေတြ အတိေရာက္ေနၾကေၾကာင္းသိရွိရပါသည္။

Burma Army captain, four soldiers killed in Mon rebel ambush

Burma Army troops under the command of Infantry Battalion No.31 was ambushed by Mon guerrillas yesterday. A captain and four soldiers were killed. Mon guerrillas under the command of Monland Restoration Party (MRP) fired on junta troops traveling in trucks and motor cycles from a hill near Kabya (Mahae) village at about 3 p.m. A source close to the Burma Army told IMNA that Captain Thein Khet Hlaing, a lieutenant and three soldiers died on the spot while some soldiers were injured. But MRP chairman, Col Pan Nyunt claimed that a Major was also killed and a MRP soldier was injured. "Our troops reported that a major, a captain and four soldiers were killed. The fire fight continued for about 30 minutes when both sides met on the road to Ye-Khaw za, near Kabya," said Col Pan Nyunt, who changed his party from Honsarwatoi Restoration Party to Monland Restoration Party. The 40 strong MRP troop was led by Major Eean Dae, added Nai Pan Nyunt. Following the clash Burma Army troops barred people from traveling along the Ye-Khaw za motor road. MRP troops have been active in the area for more than six years and demand financial support from villagers. Because of this many of its supporters were executed by government troops and some are still under detention. Recently the military government seriously tortured Yin Ye village headman and some villager for funding the MRP. Some military government informers and military regime supporters in the area were also killed by the MRP and the residents in the area live in a catch 22 situation.
