Burma Regime blasted mine in Panglong, but its media accused of Shan State Army
On the last day of 63rd Union Day funfair on February 16, the mine blasted at evening in Panglong Township Sport ground and wounded 4 villagers. After the blast, Burma regime blamed that SSA planted the mine and stepped up its propaganda media among the villagers to arrest and watch the movements of SSA.
SSA, as an armed group who has been fighting the Burma regime for independent fully denied the blast by saying that they have no policy of planting mine to kill the innocent people.
Burma regime has evil habit of planting mines and explosion bombs during the national festival of ethnic nationalities. In December of 2009, time bombs exposed during Karen New Year Festival in Pa Pone Township and injured a dozen of villagers. Burma regime accused of Karen National Army (KNU) for the explosion and spread the media among the villagers. KNU also has no policy to kill the innocent people.
Going back in year 2007, there was an explosion during Mon National Day festival in Three pagodas pass-Thai-Burma border and injured two villagers.
Ethnic nationalities of Burma now vividly clear that Burma regime has policy and strategy adoption to expose the bombs and blast mines and take other dangerous action at every time ethnic nationalities held their traditional or new year festivals in order to make the ethnic nationalities people fear, refrain from joining the festival, damage the festival and prevent the consequent of popularity for coming year.
